EPA Envirofacts Warehouse 1900
- Allows you to retrieve environmental information from EPA databases on Superfund sites, drinking water, toxic and air releases, hazardous waste and Biennial Reporting System data, water discharge permits, and grants information. Use online queries to retrieve data or generate maps of environmental information by choosing from several mapping applications available through EPA's Maps On Demand. The Envirofacts Warehouse currently provides access to data from eight EPA environmental databases and the Master Chemical Integrator. Facility Information is also available. Spatial data information is available through EPA's Locational Data Improvement Project, EPA's Spatial Data Library, EPA's Maps on Demand, and the Locational Reference Tables. The Envirofacts Warehouse offers a search option to locate text within metadata pages.

The information in IRIS is intended for those without extensive training in toxicology, but with some knowledge of health sciences.

Integrated Species Information 1909

While we continue to check and combine these different data sets, there may be differences between the taxonomy and distribution data given here and that given in either the IUCN Red List of Threatened Animals or Birds to Watch 2.

Man and the Biosphere Species Databases 1903
- "The Information Center for the Environment, in association with the U.S. Man and the Biosphere (U.S. MAB) Program, is developing databases of vascular plant and vertebrate animal occurrences on the world's biosphere reserves and other protected areas. Currently, the MABFlora (for vascular plants) and MABFauna (for vertebrate animals) databases contain records from over 320 protected areas in 80 countries. The MABFlora and MABFauna databases are continually updated as additional data are received.

- "This is a database of approximately 210 invertebrates and fish that are collected or maintained at the Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory. Given the MBL's history with these animals, there is a large volume of information available concerning them and the contributions they have made as research models in biological research. At the MBL, we are beginning to collect and make this information available electronically. One of the means to access this information will be via this database. Full-text articles regarding various species are included in this database and can also be accessed via a subject index."
